Everyone is completely different. Different biological makeup, different upbringings, environments and different things we were exposed to. We all have different experiences and these experiences shape who we are as people.

Comparing yourself to somebody else without truly experiencing everything they have gone through to make them the way they are is punishing yourself. You only know the half that you are seeing but never the half through closed doors.

Stop finding new people to idolise to the point where you cannot find things you like about yourself, nor have the confidence within your own skin.

You do not need to be like someone else, you do not need to replicate someone's lifestyle, you do not need to follow any micro trends to fit in and you do not need to compare yourself to these people to be happy.

Letting go of the habit of being a follower and a mindless consumer will open the door to a sense of peace and freedom. Allowing yourself to truly embrace who you want to be without caring about the pressure from the internet or your peers.

Being different is scary to some people. I know that the fear of being disliked holds power over many and this is the killer of individuality in our society.

You either will be scared to be authentic or be stressed about fitting in, pick your hard.

Be the person who inspires others with something they haven't seen before or were too scared to do themselves. Being different is a flex, being different makes you stand out, makes people notice you and gives you an advantage over others if you succeed in doing so.
